PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bicycle having an electric wheel with less mechanical parts and easy maintenance, i.e., a device with good efficiency of rotation energy in view of a problem wherein, although there is a device in which high speed rotation power by a DC motor is mechanically transmitted by a speed reducer in electric driving of the wheel of an electric assist bicycle or the like, there are increase in a rotational load by mechanical transmission, increase in body weight by the mechanical weight of a motor body and the speed reducer, complexity of a machine for a rotation transmission route and difficulty of repairing maintenance accompanying with increase in the number of rotation transmission parts. SOLUTION: In the electric wheel and the electric bicycle using it, electric power is easily generated and can be converted to power by providing an air-core coil on a rim 1 of a wheel 3 of a commercial bicycle or the like and providing a permanent magnet 9 on an axle support frame 7.
