PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate taking out of only a blower unit after an air conditioner for an automobile is assembled to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 for the automobile is composed of an outside air introduction duct 2, the blower unit 3, and an air conditioning unit 4. The blower unit 3 and the air conditioning unit 4 are joined with a fitting connection means. The blower unit 3 is fastened with the air introduction duct 2 by fastening the fastening screw plate 16 and a fastening plate 23 of the blower unit 3 with screws 25, and fixed to the vehicle body with screws 30 through a mounting bracket 27.
