PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a width direction sign device for a vehicle capable of surely preventing damage at the time of nonuse such as during parking and well demonstrating a sign function even at the time of next and later use. SOLUTION: The width direction sign device is equipped with a cylindrical support member 1, an elastically deformable sign member 2 stored in the support member 1 so as to be projected and retreated from the one end or the both ends of the support member 1, and an operation rod 3 mounted on the sign member 2 for operating the sign member 2 so as to be projected and retreated.
