PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which precisely compensates an incident X-ray dose and can capture an excellent CT image even when the incident X-ray dose is unstable due to the position of an X-ray focal point, or the like. SOLUTION: In (1), a projection image P1 is captured from an X-ray detector 12. In (2), a background region P2 of a subject S shown as a gray image which is a direct incident region of the X-rays is extracted for the every projection image P1 and an extraction image of the background region P2 is captured. In (3), the incident X-ray dose is acquired from the extraction image of the background region P2 and a pixel value corresponding to the incident X-ray dose is determined. The projection image P1 is divided by the above incident X-ray dose to acquire the logarithm for producing the projection data for reconstruction and a tomogram is produced by reconstructing the projection data.
