摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch piston mechanism for a fluid type transmission, using a seal ring 3 for partitioning a gap between a clutch piston 1 and a clutch cylinder 2 opposing each other into a clutch cylinder side space 4 and an oil pressure chamber 5 separated from each other to increase as much as possible sealing performance on the fitted face of the seal ring 3 to the clutch piston 1. <P>SOLUTION: The seal ring 3 has a core 31 externally fitted and mounted onto the clutch piston 1, an outer lip 32 attached to the core 31 in contact with the side of the clutch cylinder 2, and an inner lip 33 attached to the core 31 in contact with the fitted face to the clutch piston 1 in an elastically deformed condition. Thus, the sealing performance on the fitted face of the seal ring 3 to the clutch piston 1 is secured without managing the assembling tolerance of the core 31 of the seal ring 3 onto the clutch piston 1 as severely as conventional. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
