<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run, its manufacturing method, and a die device for molding the glass run capable of significantly improving workability. <P>SOLUTION: A glass run 1 is mounted to a sash of a vehicle door. The glass run 1 comprises extrusion molding parts 2 and the like, and die molding parts 5 and the like. Each of the molding parts 2 and the like is equipped with a main body 15 comprising a base bottom 10 and side walls 11, 12, seal lips 14, 15 sealing a space from the door glass, and flexible parts 16 and the like expandable in an in-vehicle outward direction at the base bottom 10. At the time of molding the die molding part 5, the glass run 1, to which an opening 40 penetrating through the base bottom 10 is formed, is molded instead of the flexible parts 16 and the like in a predetermined section including a corner part C1 of the die molding part 5 by using a core die comprising a core body, a first holding part projecting from a side to define inner peripheries of the seal lips 14, 15, and a second holding part projecting from a side to define an inner periphery of the base bottom 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
