<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle notification sound output device which instantaneously and efficiently notifies e.g. a portion causing an alarm to passengers. <P>SOLUTION: In a filter coefficient generating portion 35, a filter coefficient interpolating portion 39 performs an interpolation of a filter coefficient according to a relative position with an object by using a head transfer function which becomes a base. Especially, when the object is moving, the relative position of the object is successively grasped following the movement of the object, and the interpolation of the filter coefficient is performed. In a filter coefficient synthesizing portion 41, the head transfer function interpolated and a crosstalk removal filter coefficient are synthesized, so that a virtual sound source filter coefficient is generated. The virtual sound source filter coefficient generated by the filter coefficient generating portion 35 is superimposed on acoustic data of a notification sound to be calculated, and an acoustic signal of a virtual sound source is generated according to speakers 23 and 25 on both sides.
