PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of applying image processing for reflecting the intention of a user to a photographed image without the need for carrying out re-photographing. SOLUTION: The imaging device records once photographing data from an imaging element 101 to a memory 105, displays an image as a result of digital development processing of the photographing data, again corrects parameter settings when it is discriminated that parameters for various image processes are improper to the photographed image at the digital development processing on the basis of the displayed image, the imaging apparatus reads the photographed data from the memory 105 and carries out operations again for digital development processing for a required number of times and records the resulting data to a recording medium 117 when the image quality intended by a photographer is obtained.
