POLYKETONE FIBER CORD AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyketone fiber cord enhancing the twisting strength retention of the polyketone fibers and having excellent twisting shape and fatigue resistance without causing twisting shrinkage and to provide a method for producing the polyketone fiber cord. SOLUTION: (1) The polyketone fiber cord is a twisted cord comprises the polyketone fibers comprising a main repeating unit composed of a 1-oxotrimethylene unit. The twisting shrinkage ratio of the cord satisfies the formula represented by twisting shrinkage ratio≤1.8×10-4×K+1.3×10-8×K2äwherein, K is the twist multiplier represented by K=Y×D0.5; Y is the number of twists (T/m) per m of the fiber cord; and D is the total fineness (dtex) of the fiber cord}. (2) The method for producing the polyketone fiber cord comprises regulating the tension during twisting of the polyketone fibers to 0.08-0.7 cN/dtex when the polyketone fibers comprising the main repeating unit composed of the 1-oxotrimethylene unit are twisted to produce the polyketone fiber cord.
