PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an indoor fan motor for normally starting the indoor fan motor so that it does not bring discomfort to a user. SOLUTION: A control part 6 is provided with a rotational frequency setting table 7 for setting the rotational frequency of a blower fan 5 in advance on the basis of an air volume mode, a rotational frequency-applied voltage corresponding table 8 for setting the applied voltage in advance in correspondence with the indicated rotational frequency, a rotational frequency comparing part 9 for comparing the rotational frequency of the blower fan 5 detected by the rotational frequency detecting sensor 13 with a rotational frequency set in advance by the rotational frequency setting table 7 on the basis of subtraction processing, a determining part 10 for determining whether the starting voltage applied to the fan motor 4 is to be changed or not on the basis of a value as a result of the comparison by the rotational frequency comparing part 9, and an applied voltage level table 12 and an output voltage setting part 11 for stepwise changing the starting voltage applied to the fan motor 4.
