<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elasticity distribution realizing an optimal sleep posture and an optimal body pressure distribution for a user by measuring the sleep posture and the body pressure distribution in the face-up position and the lateral position of the user, and provide the mattress having the elasticity distribution and a manufacturing method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The elasticity distribution for the optimal body pressure distribution and sleep posture is obtained by making a subject lie on a mattress for measurement formed by arranging a large number of blocks different in elasticity, measuring the sleep posture and the body pressure distribution by a sleep posture measuring device and a body pressure distribution measuring device in the face-up position and the lateral position of the subject and replacing the blocks with each other to realize the optimal state. The mattress with the elasticity distribution for the optimal sleep posture and body pressure distribution is manufactured by cutting a required section of the mattress and replacing the required section of the mattress with a segment having the same size and a different elasticity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
