PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress winding irregularities in a circumferential direction at an end of a glass lamp container 10 in manufacturing of a lamp, by using not a metal tape, but an electric conductive shrinkable tube to a material for forming external electrodes 20, 21, to enable manufacture of a lamp with a stable quality performance, and to reduce weight of a lamp. SOLUTION: In a dielectric barrier discharging low-pressure discharge lamp 11, external electrodes 20, 21 are arranged on the outers of both ends of the tube of the tubular glass lamp container 10, a discharge medium 60 is encapsulated into the tubular glass lamp container, and a phosphor layer 70 is formed on the inner surface of the glass lamp container. At least one of the electrodes in the circumferential direction at both the ends of the tube of the tubular glass lamp container 10 is formed by covering electric conductive shrinkable tubes 30, 31.
