PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated conveying system allowing to know the operating condition of casters in advance, thus increasing conveying efficiency, and eliminating the burden of work associated with an emergent process. SOLUTION: The automated conveying system includes a plurality of automated carriers 11 each of which is supported on a floor face using casters 13 and a driving wheel 14 and allowed to self-travel along a track 23 on the floor face by rotating the driving wheel using a motor 15 operated by electric power supplied from a battery 16, and controlling the motor using an on-vehicle control means 18; and an operation management means 19 for managing the operation of the automated carriers by radio communication. The operation management means outputs preventive safety information indicating the loaded condition of the casters according to the measurements of motor current values sent from the automated carriers by radio.
