PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator hoist gear reduced in size and strong. SOLUTION: In this elevator hoist gear, a rotating part 130 where a sheave 131, a brake side end plate 132 and a brake disk 133 are integrally formed and a rotating part 140 where a rotor 141 and a motor side end plate 142 are integrally formed are coaxially connected by a bolt 150. Both rotating parts 130, 140 are supported on a sheave case 110 and a frame 120 by bearings 151, 152. In this elevator hoist gear, when a motor constructed from the rotor 141 including a permanent magnet 170 and a stator 171 including a stator coil 172 is driven, the rotating parts 130, 140 are rotated to wrap a elevator rope round the sheave 131 and deliver the same, and a brake body 160 comes into contact with the brake disk 133 to apply the brakes.
