PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively evaporate a material by keeping airtightness of a devolatilization unit of an extruder. SOLUTION: The extruder 1 has a barrel body 3 and a kneading screw body 2 rotatably inserted into the barrel body 3, and the kneading screw body 2 is equipped with the devolatilization unit 25. Filling portions 23B and 28 formed by filling a material 8 in a kneading chamber 5 are formed upstream and downstream of the devolatilization unit 25 of the kneading screw body 2, respectively.
