PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which can impart powerful lines of magnetic force and wide-range magnetic fields, with a simple constitution, and can satisfactorily and effectively apply magnetic treatment to a fluid such as water. SOLUTION: This water treatment apparatus is provided with: an internally hollow casing 3 having an inflow port 5 and an outflow port 7; four magnetism generating parts 15 arranged in the casing; and a supporting plate 22 which has a plurality of water-passable holes 24 and is arranged in the upper position of the magnetism generating parts on the side of the inflow port. Each of four magnetism generating parts is composed of an erected/fixed waterproof cylindrical body 16 extending from the supporting plate to the inner bottom surface 10 of the casing and a permanent magnet 21 which is incorporated in the cylindrical body and has a large amount of gauss. Four magnetism generating parts are arrayed at the predetermined intervals so as to form a water passage 25 having the powerful lines of magnetic force and wide-range magnetic fields formed at each of the intervals.
