PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform corrective control such that an actual air-fuel ratio becomes a theoretical air-fuel ratio and to prevent deterioration of exhaust gas purifying performance, even when evaporative fuel is purged to an intake passage, in an air-fuel ratio control device for an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This air-fuel ratio control device for the internal combustion engine is provided with a control means having a target air-fuel ratio correction part for correcting a target air-fuel ratio based on a correction value obtained from a ratio between a feedback correction amount immediately before the evaporative fuel is purged to the intake passage and that after purged.
