PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement treating system and a diaper capable of keeping the inside of a storage cup clean by improving the water repellency of the inside of the storage cup. SOLUTION: The excrement treating system comprises the diaper 12 and an excrement treating apparatus. The diaper has a belly pad section 12a covering an area below the navel, a back pad section 12b covering the buttocks, and the storage cup arranged in a connecting section of the belly pad section 12a and the back pad section 12b for receiving the excrement. The excrement treating apparatus is connected to the storage cup for sucking in the excrement within the storage cup and for washing the inside of the storage cup. The storage cup has an excrement collecting tray 120 connected to the back pad section 12b and a cup 121 connected to the belly pad section 12a. The excrement treating system is characterized in that the excrement collecting tray 120 is made of a resin, the cup 121 is made of an elastic material, and the inside of the cup is applied with water-repellent finishing.
