The bracket (2) has rollers (6,7,8) rotatably arranged and mounted in the roller channels (4,5) formed on the height-adjustable side rail (1) of a vehicle. The roller (6) fitted in one roller channel (4) is adjustably arranged with respect to its shaft (16) between lower position and upper position for tilting tarpaulin bow (10). When the roller (6) is in lower position, the bottom of the roller is located on the sole portion of the roller channel (4). When the same roller is in upper position, the tarpaulin bow is tilted and the shaft of the roller is pulled upward from the roller channel providing an additional distance for the tarpaulin bow. The rollers rotate with respect to their respective shafts (16,17,18) toward the longitudinal extension of the tarpaulin bow.
