The invention relates to a fine particle as a carrier which may be prepared at a low cost by the use amount of a material to be carried as compared to a conventional carrier and a method for preparation thereof. A fine particle as a carrier according to this invention is characterized in that it comprises a fine particle (3) having a pore (21) on the surface thereof, and a thin film or super fine particles being carried on the apparent surface thereof having a particle diameter less than that of said fine particle (3), and more super particles or thin film are carried on the apparent surface of the above fine particle (3) than the inside of the above pore (21). The apparent surface means the surface of the fine particle excluding the surface inside the pore.
