<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of temporarily holding a wiring board of flexible printed circuit board or the like in the condition that it is inserted in the connector, and securely preventing the wiring board from falling off by a falling-off prevention mechanism in the condition that the connector is locked. <P>SOLUTION: A connection terminal 39 includes a clip piece 73 and a fixed piece 71 vertically confronting to each other and a space between pawls 74A and 74B respectively provided on tips of the clip piece 73 and the fixed piece 71 is a little smaller than the thickness of the flexible printed circuit board 48. Accordingly, when the flexible printed circuit board 48 is inserted in a board insertion inlet 68, the flexible printed circuit board 48 is held between the pawls 74A and 74B. Further, a projection 77 is provided on the tip of an operation lever 46 and a notch 78 to which the projection 77 is fitted in is provided in the flexible printed circuit board 48, and thus the flexible printed circuit board 48 is not fallen off from the board insertion inlet 68 when the projection is fitted in the notch 79 by putting the operation lever 46 in horizontal position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
