<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control system and control method for projectors which can unitarily perform management and control with one unit of a personal computer so as to enable each projector to project prescribed content information as desired without connecting the personal computers by each projector. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit 11000 and a plurality of the projectors 12100 to 12600 are two-way communicatably connected by a network 1800 etc., and the projection information or control information is transmitted en bloc or discretely from the control unit 11000 to the respective projectors.
