PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license management server, program, and a license management method by which a license with valid contents data is efficiently transferred. SOLUTION: The license management server out of the license management server, a computer program, and a license management method comprises: deleting pre-transfer terminal identification information corresponding in a one-to-one basis to user identification information upon receiving a transfer request for a license; updating status information of license information managed by associating with the user identification information to license re-issue from the issued license; then newly generating transferred terminal identification information; associating, through the user identification information, the transferred terminal identification information with the status information; and authenticating the re-issue upon if the license re-issue is requested.
