PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the responsiveness of a device driver managed by a second OS in a computer system provided with a first OS and the second OS operated under the first OS. SOLUTION: A real-time OS 40 in the computer system 30 comprises a task control part 41 managing a plurality of tasks according to priorities set to the tasks to assign an execution right thereto. A general OS (multimedia OS 50) excellent in multimedia function is registered as one task in a ready queue 43 managed by the task control part 42. The priority of this multimedia OS is generally set to a lowest value. In case that an interruption request to the multimedia OS is generated, an ISR for second OS is started to store the interruption event in a ring buffer 80, and the priority of the multimedia OS 50 is changed to a second value higher than the lowest value.
