PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber and a fiber product which each contains a specific aroma ingredient and has an effect for depressing or reducing stress response. SOLUTION: This fiber or fiber product is characterized by containing an aroma ingredient gathered from plant leaves, especially green leaves, or an aroma ingredient equivalent to the above aroma ingredient. The aroma ingredient concretely includes one or more compounds selected from (3Z)-hexanol, (3Z)-hexenol, (3E)-hexenol, (3E)-hexenal, (2E)-hexenol, (2E)-hexenal, n-hexenol and n-hexenal.
