ENGINEERING PLASTIC TYPE THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engineering plastic type thermoplastic elastomer composition having excellent compatibility and water resistance. SOLUTION: The engineering plastic type thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises 50 to 99% wt. of (A) an engineering plastic type thermoplastic elastomer and 1 to 50% wt. of (B) an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer that is modified with hydroperoxy group-bearing peroxide. The hydroxy group-modified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (B) is obtained by using 0.1 to 20% wt. of hydroperoxy group-bearing peroxide per 100% wt. of ethylene-α-olefin copolymer and they are heated at the temperature from the 10 hours half-life temperature to the one minute half-life temperature.
