PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear and a footwear bottom for reducing labor at the time of walking. SOLUTION: Sports shoe 1 is provided with a covering part 11 and a sole part 13. As shown in B of the figure, the sole part 13 is provided with an outer shape part 131, a cushion part 132, an elastic plate 133, a toe side holding part 135, a heel side holding part 137, a fulcrum shaft 138 and a bend shaft 139. Before kicking the ground surface with the toe of the sole part 13, the end part 133T on the toe side of the elastic plate 133 is engaged with the toe side holding part 135 and the end part 133H on the heel side is engaged with the heel side holding part 137 respectively. When a user starts walking, the sole part 13 is deflected and restoration force is stored in the elastic plate 133. At the time of kicking the ground surface with the toe of the sole part 13, the engagement of the end part 133T of the elastic plate 133 and the toe side holding part 135 are disengaged. Thus, the elastic plate 133 discharges the stored restoration force. The hitting of the ground surface by the elastic plate 133 provides the user with auxiliary driving force at the time of walking.
