<p>When the basic implant is inserted into the jawbone an impression of the jaw has to be made in order to obtain a realistic image of the condition present at the jaw of the patient. Posts (1) are attached to the top of the abutment and used in combination with the impression tray. Each of the posts (1) is of a conical shape (2) with its wider end (6) pointing to the top. The outer surface is interrupted by at least two recesses dividing the post (1) into three segments.</p> |
