<p>The toothbrush can be stored in a holding element also serving as a charger (10) and provided with a battery filling level indicator (8) activated when complementary electromagnetic elements (6, 7) at the handle (2) and at the stand (10) get in contact. When the toothbrush is removed from the stand (10) the power is guided into several LEDs (4) positioned at the neck leading the light through a translucent head (1) to the bristle base.
