The invention provides a polymer composition, which contains a heat accumulating phase change material, which is in the form of a solid, or a paste. This composition is so stable and has such a solid form that it may be warmed up to 180 (200) °C and mechanically treated without changing the structure and the composition thereof and without losing its phase change materials. After being heated up the heat emission of this composition is constant and consequently the composition has a long radiation time. The composition can, as an additive, be used directly and simply for various products. Furthermore the polymer composition is easy to produce.
