<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an appropriate evaluation and inspection on the variation of a discharge cell unit which occurs in a plasma display panel. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to an image evaluation method of a plasma display panel which has a plurality of discharge cells between a pair of substrates and performs image display by generating discharge in each of discharge cells, the image of the plasma display panel is photographed by a photographing means, and the photographed image is divided in a plurality of regions, and the variation degree of the image data in respective divided regions is obtained, and using this variation degree, the image is evaluated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
