摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve center deviation caused by the clearance of a rotary shaft and a bearing by putting the rotor of a spindle motor to one side in a pickup moving direction by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A magnetic material 10 formed of a flat part 10a having a flat surface perpendicular to the axis Z of the rotary axis of the spindle motor and the cylindrical part 10b of a cylindrical shape concentric with the axis Z is mounted at the end 7e of a bearing holder 7, and opposed to an annular magnet 13 mounted at the rotor R. The flat part 10a is formed so as to become an axial symmetry to the axis Y of a pickup moving line. In the case of this embodiment, the flat part 10a is an annular flat part having the axis Z as a center. The center side is formed with a circular aperture 10c which does not disturb the motion of the rotary shaft 12, and the outer peripheral side is formed in an arcuate shape continued to the cylindrical part 10b.
