PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector 2 for housing a printing screen in a shape for surrounding a peripheral part of the printing screen extending its periphery by a protective frame rim in a case wherein a frame 1 equipped with the protective frame rim 3 for holding a printing screen on a plane and housing the printing screen in a shape for surrounding a peripheral part of the printing screen extending its periphery, and to provide the screen stretching frame for making the printing screen held by the protector 2 have tension. SOLUTION: For the protector, in order to improve protection in treating the printing screen and to decrease a danger to an operator for handling the printing screen, respective adjoining protective frame rims 3 support mutually in a shape wherein respective adjoining protective rims 3 mutually support for allowing each of those end areas 4, 5 to move mutually relatively and to constitute the frame 1.
