PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost manufacturing method for a column and beam joint structure and the column and beam joint structure, in which the bending strength of a beam can effectively be used without the need to largely cut off its flange, and elongation or brittle fracture can be prevented from taking place to the column and beam joint caused by external forces like earthquakes, etc., and the desired bending strength of beams can be maintained. SOLUTION: A column and beam joint structure 1 is joined with a beam flange plate 5 in one of its column faces, and joined with a beam flange plate 5a in its end opposing the joint structure 1.
