<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a roller mark from being formed when wax is included in a toner image which has been fixed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a fixing part 30 for thermally fixing the toner image formed on paper P, and a negative pressure carrying belt 101 provided on the downstream side of a paper carrying path with respect to the fixing part 30, and carrying the paper P to the downstream side further in a state where a prescribed member does not come into contact with the toner image thermally fixed by the fixing part 30. The negative pressure carrying belt 101 carries the paper P in a state where the toner image does not come into contact with the prescribed member until the temperature of the toner image gets lower than the melting point of the wax included in the toner image thermally fixed by the fixing part 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
