PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transfer method and a recording medium whereby the power consumption of nodes in a network is not increased even when the number of stages of a tree structure is increased. SOLUTION: Each slave node gathers a payload of packets received from downstream side slave nodes and its own payload together and sequentially transfers the packets toward a master node. Since the number of transmission/reception times in the network is considerably decreased, the power consumption of the nodes in the network is not increased even when the number of stages of the tree structure is increased.
