PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contaminated air capturing efficiency and to prevent dew formation with respect to a range hood for capturing the contaminated air generated in cooking. SOLUTION: The wind F blown off from an opening edge part of a hood body 1 is obliquely collided and joined with the contaminated air Q generated from a heating cooking utensil, diffusing as rising and leaking to the outside of a hood body, to change the direction of the flow of the contaminated air Q to the direction of a suction port 131 by the power of blown-off air F, a part of the blown-off air F is led to the suction port 131 by allowing the same to flow along a recessed face 3' of a contaminated air capturing recessed part 3 by Coanda effect of a curved face 132 formed on a lower end part of the contaminated air capturing recessed part 3 of the hood body 1, and a boundary layer for preventing the attachment of steam is formed with respect to the recessed face 3' to prevent dew formation.
