PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space in a width direction of an engine, in a two-cylinder V type OHV engine. SOLUTION: A cylinder block 31 and a cylinder head 51 constitute a V-shaped cylinder banks LB, RB. Inside the cylinder block 31, a cylinder 34L and a cylinder 34 R are respectively formed in sides (cylinder banks Lb, RB). A crank gear 42 is fixed to a lower end side of a crankshaft 35, and a cam gear 43 is fixed to a lower end side of a camshaft 41. An idle gear 44 is meshed with the crank gear 42 and cam gear 43, so that a rotary driving force of the crankshaft 35 is transmitted to the camshaft 41 through the idle gear 44.
