[Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] An aircraft landing or take-off lamp, vehicle headlamp, or other lamp, comprises readily separable reflector and front elements a, b retained together by resilient clamping means j extending between the front element band an annular or hollow cylindrical element c engageable with a rear portion of the reflector element. The parabolic reflector a is formed at the rear with a cylindrical extension a<1> stepped down at a<2> to form a slotted tubular part a<8> in which the bulb holder e is gripped under the influence of the contracting band f. In Fig. 1, the hollow cylindrical element c forms a cap enclosing the extension a<1>, and engages directly against the rear of the reflector a. In Fig. 4, the annular element c abuts against the shoulder a<2>. The front ring b has an internal flange and cushioning ring a<4> against which the reflector a is held by the tension springs j and associated wires j<1>, which are detachable from the ring b. The assembly may be accommodated in an aerofoil, and is pivotally mounted by brackets k on the ring b, and a Bowden wire may be attached to the lug l.
