The bearing assembly (1) for the conversion of a rotational movement into a translational movement, especially for an axial piston pump, comprises a rotatable first bearing race (2) with a first running track (4) for rolling bodies (5), and a second bearing race (6) which has a second running track (7) for the rolling bodies which are especially balls. The first running track of the first bearing race is installed so that it lies in a plane (8) with the normal lines (N) including an angle (alpha ) of between 5 and 35 degrees in relation to the rotational axis of the first bearing race.
