A light conductor unit (LL) is arranged between the printed circuit board layers. One of the printed circuit board layers is formed as a support layer. The passage opening is lined with a material whose refractive index is similar to that of the light conductor unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a printed circuit board.
