<p>The system has a control unit (18) that regulates the opening and closing operation of an electromagnetic bypass valve (4), such that the electromagnetic bypass valve opens and closes faster compared to the duration of one engine stroke. The control unit also regulates the operation of a throttle valve (2) which is provided with a throttle valve actuator (3). The electromagnetic bypass valve is arranged in a bypass channel (23) connecting the inlet and outlet portions of the throttle valve. The electromagnetic valve is arranged with the crankshaft of an engine. An accelerator pedal sensor (17) detects the position of an accelerator pedal (16), and outputs a detection signal to the control unit. The control unit determines the condition of the engine based on the output of the accelerator pedal sensor. An independent claim is also included for the operation of the intake air system.</p> |
