<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve device for a compressor preventing noise by simple structure, improving stability of discharge amount control and having a long service life. <P>SOLUTION: In the variable displacement type compressor equipped with a crank chamber 20 and a discharge chamber 70, the solenoid valve device is provided with communication passages 86, 88, 90 extending between the crank chamber 20 and the discharge chamber 70, and a solenoid valve 72 interposed on the communication passages 86, 88, 90 and opening/closing the communication passages 86, 88, 90.
