<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device reproducing sound of sufficient level from the low range to the high range of audible frequency band by reproducing the low range of audible frequency band sufficiently and providing a resonance chamber below the floor surface of a bathroom. <P>SOLUTION: A resonance chamber 11 is formed by arranging a vibration cone 6 on the lower surface of a waterproof pan 2 installed in a bathroom. A vibration transmitting member 8, e.g. a coil spring, is secured to the vibration cone 6 and coupled with an actuator 10 for outputting vibration. Consequently, vibration of the actuator 10 is transmitted to the vibration cone 6 through the vibration transmitting member 8, and the vibration frequency can be increased effectively in the low range of audible frequency band through elastic action of the vibration transmitting member 8. Amplitude of vibration can also be increased. Furthermore, the sound resonates in the resonance chamber 11 to have a sound level large enough to be felt by a bathroom user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
