<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently receive a reflected wave from a reflector with respect to a carrier wave transmitted from a reflected wave reader, regardless of the influence such as attenuation on a transmission line. <P>SOLUTION: When judging that a state of receiving a reflected wave from the reflector is not good on the basis of an RSSI value, the reflected wave reader increases the output of the carrier wave. The receiving state is improved because the output of the carrier wave is reflected on the output of the reflected wave. The reception sensitivity for the reflected wave on the reflected wave reader is set at a known value and the difference between the reception sensitivity and the strength of a measured reception signal is defined as an increment of the output of the carrier wave, thereby enabling the reflected wave reader side to adaptively control the output of the carrier wave in accordance with positional relation with the reflector and a communication status. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
