PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a damaged part in a short period of time without using a special device in the state of keeping a rubber bag body erected, without bringing down or remove the rubber bag body. SOLUTION: In this repairing method on the occurrence of the damaged part on the rubber bag body for use in a rubber dam etc., a patch material 3, where a rubber protective layer 5 and a heat-shrinkable canvas 4 mainly composed of polyamide fibers heat-set at 80-150°C are laminated together, is stuck on the damaged part 2 of the rubber bag body 1 by means of a cold-setting adhesive 9, cured and bonded by being heated at a temperature lower than the heat shrinkage temperature of the heat-shrinkable canvas, while being pressurized by a heating and pressurizing means such as an iron, and thermally shrunk by being heated at 60-130°C as thermal shrinkage temperatures, so that the part to be repaired can be repaired without being expanded. The constitution of the patch material 3 is changed depending on the size and shape of the damaged part, and for example, the heat-shrinkable canvas of the patch material 3 can also be composed of two layers when the damage part is large.
