PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection system of agricultural products capable of simply and inexpensively performing maintenance work by reducing the adjustment of brightness and replacing frequency by using a light source wherein a plurality of infrared LEDs, red LEDs and green LEDs are arranged in a predetermined pattern. SOLUTION: In the visual inspection system of agricultural products wherein the agricultural products are imaged using an imaging means in a state that the agricultural products present at the inspection position on a feed means are irradiated with light from an illumination means and the contours of the agricultural products due to an IR value are taken out of the imaging data and the appearances of the agricultural products are measured from the respective values R and G in the taken-out contours, the illumination means is characterized in that a plurality of sets, each of which is composed of the infrared LED, the red LED and the green LED, are combined in predetermined arrangement. The respective color LEDs of the illumination means are arranged in a matrix state or a zigzag state and all of the color LEDs are collectively lighted or put out at the inspection position.
