PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus of good operativity with a storage capacity of a minimum requirement. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus comprises a control means 102, a photographing means 103 in which a photographing angle can be changed, a photographing angle detecting means 106, a photographing angle storing means 107 for storing one or more predetermined photographing angles, and a photographing start means 108. In the control means 102, photographing is performed at one of or all photographing angles stored in the photographing angle storing means 107 when the photographing start means 108 outputs a command for the start of photographing, and some of monitoring directions are stored in advance. The photographing apparatus can be thus provided that is improved in operability, can perform photographing at an angle automatically stored by the photographing start command, and requires only a minimum necessary storage capacity.
