PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg device for a table structured to share members among leg devices of different kinds and to secure the assembly workability and solidity. SOLUTION: The leg device 2 comprises a leg pole 3, lower members 4 and upper members 5. An engagement hole 10 is bored in the leg pole 3, and projections 12 and 16 to be engaged in the engagement hole 10 are formed in the lower members 4 and the upper members 5 respectively. The relative postures of the leg pole 3 and the upper/lower members 4 and 5 are retained by the state of engagement of the projections 12 and 16 and the engagement hole 10. The upper/lower members and the leg pole 3 are tightened by a screw 14 extending in the vertical direction. A strike 6 is fixed to the end of each upper member 5.
