PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably preserve a protein-containing composition, especially an antibiotic preparation for a long period and a vessel for the stable preservation. SOLUTION: The protein-containing composition can be stabilized by storing the protein-containing composition under a light-shielded condition. A light-shielding vessel can be used for the preservation under the light-shielded condition. The amount of a stabilizer added to the protein-containing composition can be decreased by this method. The combined use of the method of the present invention and the addition of a stabilizer is effective for suppressing coagulation, denaturation, decomposition and formation of insoluble foreign materials.
